Business Incubation Service Program 2026

ICT Foundation Nepal (IFN) is implementing a structured Business Incubation Service (BIS) Program (Digital & IT-Enabled Startup Incubation Program) aimed at nurturing and accelerating a total of 50+ early-stage startups from two provinces Kathmandu Valley (Bagmati) and Itahari (Koshi Province). Scheduled to run from March to June 2026, the cohort follows a hybrid model, integrating mentorship, capacity building, and investor-readiness support to strengthen the growth journey of emerging startups.

Top-performing startups will receive seed investment support, gain access to national-level platforms and be integrated into leading entrepreneurship networks such as ICT Award, Startup & Idea Fest, National Conclaves and AI Conference.

Program Model

he BIS Program is designed to bridge critical gaps faced by underserved entrepreneurs by fostering meaningful collaboration among academia, government, and industry. Through a comprehensive incubation approach, startups will receive structured guidance, practical training, and access to expert mentorship. The program emphasizes a decentralized approach to entrepreneurship development. By extending its reach beyond Kathmandu, ICT Foundation Nepal ensures that startups from historically underserved regions are actively supported. This effort builds on IFN’s established platforms, including Digital Karnali Conclave, Digital Madhesh Conclave.

These initiatives have laid the foundation for strengthening regional innovation ecosystems across Nepal.

Through this initiative, ICT Foundation Nepal aims to:

  • Strengthen Nepal’s startup ecosystem
  • Promote inclusive and regional entrepreneurship
  • Support innovation-led economic growth
  • Create pathways for startups to scale nationally and globally
  • Interested startups are encouraged to apply and be part of this program
